VITRUVIA PROJECT
AI can generate beautiful rooms.
Vitruvia asks whether they can become real renovation projects.
A renovation intelligence thesis for turning homeowner intentions into connected project packages: measured plan, layout logic, design-intent drawings, specifications, risks, alternatives and professional review context.
Renovation is not mainly a visualization problem.

Most AI interior tools treat the market as if the main challenge were visual: generate a room, change the style, create a moodboard, suggest furniture.

These outputs can be useful for inspiration. But renovation does not usually lose control because the homeowner lacked another image.

It loses control later: in unclear briefs, unreliable measurements, weak layouts, disconnected drawings, incomplete specifications, product assumptions, supplier constraints, contractor interpretation, budget pressure, regional rules, late client changes and misunderstood expectations.
A room image is not a renovation project.
Vitruvia focuses on the gap between image and execution.
Image
Shows what the room could look like. Useful for inspiration, style exploration and emotional direction.
Project
Structures what must be measured, decided, drawn, specified and reviewed.
Execution
Connects decisions to real products, suppliers, contractors, procurement risks and implementation.
Renovation intelligence, not AI interior generation.

Vitruvia is an early-stage product thesis for a system that helps turn homeowner intentions into a connected renovation project package.

The goal is not to make homeowners pretend to be designers.

The goal is to make professional renovation judgment more available, more structured and harder to bypass.

Homeowners keep agency. Vitruvia provides competence.
Generic AI vs Vitruvia

Generic AI generates the island. Vitruvia asks whether the island should exist.
Generic AI

Starts from a style prompt.
Generates a beautiful image.
May not know if dimensions are reliable.
Suggests attractive products.
Often says yes to the prompt.
Produces an image or shopping-style suggestions.
Vitruvia

Starts from brief, object data and constraints.
Tests whether the idea can become a project.
Marks measurement confidence and allowed use.
Connects product categories to drawings and decisions.
Reveals consequences before commitment.
Produces a connected project package with decisions, risks, alternatives and review context.
The first product focus: a connected project package.
A structured renovation output that keeps decisions, measured data, layout logic, design intent, drawings, specification categories, risks, alternatives and professional review status connected.

Review Context
A large fragmented market still managed through broken workflows.

The U.S. homeowner remodeling and repair market is projected to reach approximately $524 billion in 2026. The broader home maintenance and improvement market, including rental properties, exceeds $600 billion annually.

Yet much of this workflow is still fragmented across homeowners, designers, contractors, suppliers, spreadsheets, messaging apps and disconnected tools.

Vitruvia is not trying to capture the entire renovation market at once. The opportunity is to become relevant where project decisions turn into drawings, specifications, purchasing, supplier selection and contractor context.
Built from inside renovation, not from outside design software.

I am an interior architect with 20+ years of hands-on experience in renovation projects, specifications, bespoke furniture, supplier coordination and procurement workflows.

I do not see renovation only as a design problem. I see it as a workflow, procurement and trust problem.

My role is domain/product founder: translating real renovation workflow into product logic and helping technical teams avoid building a beautiful but wrong product.
